SergeI knew 2006 was going to be a big year with Aloha energy, and it’s certainly living up to that expectation and more!!

Serge Kahili King’s trip here in March was awesome, with many of the workshop participants having major insights and learnings. The best way to sum it up was said very eloquently by a very dear client who attended the workshop when she came in for her weekly lomilomi, sat down, slapped the arms of the chair as she said “ fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, loved it, loved it, loved it!”

She also sent me this testimonial which sums the weekend up:

Dear Tracey

What a weekend!! I had read Instant Healing prior to attending the workshop and had enjoyed it however the true power of that book came to me over those two days. I now have a better understanding and appreciation of Serge’s last line in his book ‘Ua ola loko I ke aloha’ (Healing comes from within by means of love)

The simplicity of Serge’s message, the accessibility of the tools and the opportunity to witness the power of this healing had a profound effect on me. Serge is such a gifted teacher and healer and is so generous in spirit and knowledge that it made it a truly remarkable experience. I usually can’t sit anywhere for 2 whole days and as the other participants around me agreed, we wanted it to go on for another day!!!

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend and experience this first hand. Thank you Tracey for bringing Serge out to Australia. It was wonderful!!!!!

p.s. I am off to Hawaii in July to do a 6 day retreat with Serge on Kauai – I can’t wait!!!!

Aloha

I then headed off to the Big Island of Hawaii for 2 weeks in April to attend a conference –‘Aina Me Kalani - Healing in Paradise with the Kupuna for a week, absorbing more of the sacred healing arts with the Elders, followed by a week taking in the Merrie Monarch Festival which a festival of hula competition & performances & traditional arts and crafts. Both of these were such an honour to be part of and something I will treasure forever. Spending time with these truly incredible and inspiring people is something that really cannot be put in to words. Spending time with my ‘ohana there was fantastic, and we’re in the throes of organising and ‘Hawaiian Immersion Tour’ for May/June 2007 – so stay tuned.

I’m returning to my other island home, Kauai in July to reconnect with my special ‘ohana there. I’m certainly getting a huge dose of Hawaiian energy this year- fantastic!!

Aloha !

This certainly has been a year for getting lomilomi and things Hawaiian out in to the public consciousness. ( No trips to Turtle Island Resort teaching this year, there's too much Polynesia wanted in Melbourne and other parts of OZ!)

I had another wonderful sojourn to Hawaii in June/July to stock up on Hawaiian provisions - music, sarongs and all sorts of other items with beautiful Hawaiian energy and to attend the Hula Intensive on Kauai with Kumu Frank Kawaikapuokalani Hewett and sponsored by Aloha International. What an incredibly gifted and talented man he is and such an exquisite dancer. I was blessed with having Susan Pa'iniu Floyd and many of the other wonderful girls who dance in the halau of Aloha International, being in attendance too. Watching these experienced dancers performing such stunning dances together was an absolute joy. It really reinforced to me the sacredness of this beautiful art.

It would appear that the planet is really thirsting for Lomilomi and the healing that it brings. I had to schedule extra trainings last year as well as this year to accommodate all the requests to participate in the workshops. I take a maximum of 10 people at a time to ensure personal attention as well as maintain a deep sense of sacredness, safety and trust within the room and each student.

Previous students have also commented on an increase in clients wanting lomilomi and a greater public awareness. I have also been busy writing articles for Living Now and Free Spirited Magazines. I have written 3 articles for Free Spirited on lomilomi, Hula and Hawaiian Shamanism and Huna. ( see links...or whatever) They will continue to run an 'Hawaiian' Article each month and I have permission from Serge to supply them with some of his articles to publish, so keep an eye each month on the Newsagency shelves. The Hawaiian energy is certainly increasing and become stronger in Australia.

So, in between seeing lomilomi clients, teaching Lomilomi, teaching hula, and writing, Kama Anela (Murphy) and I are enjoying our strolls on the beach. Having a new home so close to such a beautiful, healing environment is not only very nice, and what better place to relax, energise and help connect with the energy of the Islands.
