I decided last night that today would be a good day for sorting the paperwork, financials, fine-tuning of sightseeing for the Cultural Immersion Retreat.
That will still happen a little later, however, I awoke this morning with this running through my mana’o which means I have to attend to this 1st to get it off my plate or they’ll just keep prodding me. So as always, easier to surrender and do it than to resist. ( you know that old saying ‘what you resist persists!’) . So, be in Manawa ( now is the moment of power), do it and then Mahalo Pau, thankyou it’s done, finished.
I’m sure I don’t have to remind you of the speeding up of things and powerful energies as we enter 2012. What a doozy the last full moon was!
Now is the time to take a good look at ourselves, our words, actions, beliefs, thoughts, behaviours, way of being, relationships and ask ‘ how is this serving me?’ Is this keeping me in aloha and pono or pilikia? As Dr Phil would say ‘ How’s that working for you?”
Everyone has a different journey, different experiences, different story. The western mindset makes excuses and tries to put everyone with the same ‘condition’ in to a particular box of cause and effect. Well, here’s a newsflash. There is no box. It’s called choice.
I know I’ve just offended a few people and a few of you are going ‘oh, sure but….’ No buts. You create your own reality, I create mine by thoughts, beliefs, actions, reactions, perception, and so the list goes on. You can be at cause in your life or be a victim. The choices everyone makes are none of my business, only in that I want to see the planet happier and healthier and want to see each of you shining your light to the fullest and being all you are here to be.
I had a new client the other week who as he said had a gift for healing but wasn’t getting any clients. His languaging was incredibly negative, he was in a job he hates, mea mea mea! ( blah, blah, blah!) . His energy was, let’s just say pretty ordinary. My first question to him was ‘ what do you do to clear your energy’ and keep it clear?’ His response was along the lines of not believing in that. So my next question was ‘ do you clean your teeth and have a shower every day?’. The penny started to drop for him. I then asked him’ would you want to lay on that massage table and have you put your hands on yourself for ‘healing’ at the moment, with the way you are?’ He got it then. He didn’t like it, however he got it. Now, whether he takes any action is again none of my business.
The other things that get a lot of ‘oh but’s’ in reply are financial investments in further healing, education, personal- development and secondly health/fitness/weight matters. And these are by people who have trained with me and ‘read the books’. Knowing things intellectually and then putting them in to action, doing the hana, cannot be separated. Are you walking the talk always or only when convenient?
20 some years ago when I was doing my psychotherapy post-grad, Chonic Fatigue was becoming the diagnosis of choice in the medical profession. The medical name for CFS is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis – M.E. In psychotherapy and metaphysical realms this was ME- Many Excuses. I’m simply using this by way of example, so don’t shoot the messenger. My question to anyone with this as with any ‘condition’ is to ask yourself WIIFM. -what’s in it for me? Ie what are the benefits of having this condition. Be honest with yourself.
Some of you recently had the profound honour of hearing someone speak of their 20plus year journey of Living with HIV. Is she someone who could have had Many Excuses to be a victim and blame, you bet. Does she, absolutely not. Does she do ho’oponopono every day? Sure does. Does she choose to get out of bed every morning and fuel her kino and mana’o with positive, healthy food and and thoughts, again sure does. Is she still alive today because of these choices- absolutely.
I recently had the honour of having another new client come to me via something that was a very sad and profound event in her life. She is someone who also inspires me with hope for the planet. She hasn’t done any ‘formal’ spiritual training, however each session she has asked me for some techniques she can do herself, to help heal and release the grief and other emotions. She does what I share diligently with her meditation, ho’oponopono and way she views things and the shift in her energy is a joy to witness. She’s doing the hana and making the choices to kala (release) and heal, and not doing M.E.
I could keep rambling with many other examples however will simply end with this.
With the New Year upon us ,what is it you want release and then manifest in your lives. Is it time to replace that old, worn-out, stretched tape recording. Is it time to move fully from pilikia to pono and aloha. Remember the 2 p words cannot co-exist in the same place at the same time. You are either 1 or the other.
Make the choice. What do you choose to carry in to 2012?
