Aloha
Being born and bred in Geelong, I moved to Melbourne to attend Monash University where I studied Science and Education, which naturally lead me to teaching mathematics to senior secondary students for many years. Interestingly, it was while teaching that I first realised the need we all have as human beings to be loved and nurtured. I found that helping students to feel good about themselves became my main focus above the teaching of formulas and numbers. Simply put, the students who were confident and balanced were the students who excelled.
During this time, I spent many years attending a spiritual healing centre offering healing on a daily basis and read widely of both spiritual and self-help books. As a result I was lead to Reiki Healing, which in turn lead me to my love and daily practice of Yoga and finally, to my joy, I came to the ‘the way of the heart’ Lomilomi.
Like everyone, I have had my ups and downs and in the years after leaving the spiritual centre and before the discovery of Lomilomi I had virtually become a hermit, sitting at my computer as a home-based Graphic Designer, having deliberately separated myself from the human race, believing it was all too hard.
So most definitely Lomilomi saved me with its nurturing, unconditional Love and to be able to offer this Love to others is to me the greatest blessing and honour.

Another passion of mine is music and within my sessions I work closely with the music I have chosen in order to facilitate the healing process for I believe most certainly that music has it’s own healing power and has always been an expression of love for me.
Having trained in Melbourne with Kumu Tracey Ha’a o Laka i nã pali, a most special and inspiring teacher, I have based myself within my yoga centre, Dharma Yoga & Health Centre, in Bentleigh East, and welcome every opportunity I have to help others gain balance and harmony through this most unique and sacred form of massage.
Aloha
